Appointment Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge when notice is provided at least 48 business hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Appointments that are cancelled, rescheduled, or no-showed with less than 48 business hours’ notice will incur the following charges:

  • New Patient Appointment, Consultation Appointment, Test Results & Plan of Care Appointment: $200 late cancellation/rescheduling fee
  • Adjustment appointment: $20 late cancellation/rescheduling fee

PLEASE NOTE: For appointments scheduled on Monday or Tuesday, you must cancel or reschedule by 12:00 PM EST on the Friday before (before our office closes) in order to avoid the fee.
If you reach our voicemail while calling to cancel or reschedule, you must leave a message for your notice to be valid.

The $200 late cancellation/no-show fee may be applied as a credit toward your next rescheduled appointment.

Pricing

Here at The Wellness Way we want to be upfront about what each service may cost you and which is billable or not billable to insurance. This way you can make the best decision for you and your family. Please note that all the prices listed below are approximate and may vary slightly by location. Check with your local Wellness Way for payment options. Contact your insurance provider for network status.

diagnostic testing (lab work)

  • Lab work is based on the individual and varies greatly in price. The Wellness Way believes strongly in high-quality, comprehensive testing and works with many lab companies to offer the most cost-effective solutions possible.
  • Some lab work is billable to insurance and some is not.
  • Pricing and insurance information will be gone over by a doctor or staff member when the test kit or order for blood work is given.
  • Consultations to go over lab results and discuss plan of care ARE NOT included in the price of the test.

  • Please note that just because a service is billable to insurance does not mean it will be covered by your insurance provider.
  • Some of the services are billable to Medicare and Medicaid. Medicaid will only cover services for providers located in the state your Medicaid is through.
  • Most lab testing is not billable under insurance.

  • Insurance companies do not allow any of the following services to be billed. If you have an HSA (Health Savings Account) they may or may not allow for reimbursement. Please check with your HSA to determine what they allow to be purchase with HSA money.
  • Consultation and nutrition pricing is based on the individual. Once test results are received the doctor will meet with you to determine approximate pricing of your care plan and offer discounted pricing on bundled services. (Example plans listed below). Contact the office for more information.
  • Most lab testing is not billable under insurance.

Option 2: DISCOUNTED - PRE-PAY

Test Results & Plan of Care Visit @ 300
Consultation Appointments (4) @ $250.00 ea.
Test Results Video Recording (Optional) @25.00 ea.
Supplements, future testing, & merchandise at 10% discount		 $ 1339 (including taxes/fees)
On the last visit of this plan, you will be able to purchase additional bundled consultants at the discounted price and continue to receive the 10% discount on supplements. If you choose not to purchase the bundled visits, 10% on supplements/testing/merchandise will end on the last visit of this plan.
