INGREDIENTS

  • 3 medium sweet potatoes
  • coconut oil or avocado oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • onion powder, to taste
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • dried oregano, to taste
  • dried thyme, to taste
  • turmeric powder, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Slice sweet potatoes into fries. ¼-inch thin fries bake up nice and crispy!
  3. Toss with oil in a bowl or place on a parchment-covered cookie sheet and spray with avocado oil. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Place the fries in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping about halfway through.
  5. Watch fries closely towards the end to prevent burning. A few on the edges may get a bit dark depending on how thin they were sliced. Just remember to remove them from the oven when done to your liking.
  6. Season with the other optional seasonings. A little bit goes a long way.
